How do I register?

What’s included in the registration price?
Your registration includes:
- Tuesday, March 5: OREA & ORCF AGM (complimentary access)
- Wednesday, March 6: Keynote speakers, education sessions, tradeshow, and lunch.
- Thursday, March 7: Keynote speakers, education sessions, tradeshow, and lunch.
Are tickets available at early bird pricing?
No, the prices available on the site will remain the price.
Will REALTOR® Advocacy Day (RAD) be offered at REALiTY24?
No, REALTOR® Advocacy Day (RAD) (formerly OREA PAC Days) is scheduled to take place annually in November alongside OREA’s Power House Conference.
Will there be any Leadership Courses offered at REALiTY24?
No, L200, L300 and L301 are not part of this conference. They will be offered during the 2024 Peak Leadership Summit from January 17th – 18th. In-person and virtual classes are available. For more information on Peak Leadership Summit or OREA’s leadership courses, please email leadership@orea.com.
Will OREA be paying for Committee members to attend REALiTY?
Committee members are not covered to attend REALiTY per OREA policy. Reach out to your committee OREA Staff Liaison if you have any questions.
What is the registration cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made in writing to events@orea.com before Monday, January 22, 2024, less a $50 processing fee.
Must I be vaccinated to attend the Conference?
In line with Public Health Ontario, attendees of this Event are not required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
However, it is recommended that we still do our part to protect ourselves and others, especially during respiratory illness season. This includes practising good hand hygiene, wearing a mask if required or if you feel it is right for you, staying home when you are sick, and staying up to date on your vaccinations.
Any attendee who has tested positive for COVID-19 test or who has symptoms of COVID-19 is not to attend the Event and must comply with applicable Public Health guidelines.
Hotel and Travel
How do we book hotel rooms under the Conference block and what are the cancellation policies for our bookings?
OREA reserved room blocks at Westin Ottawa and Fairmont Château Laurier.
Will shuttle transportation be available?
Shuttle transportation is not available.
Shaw Centre is accessible to guests staying at The Westin Ottawa by the indoor connecting bridge. Shaw Centre is a 7-minute walk from Fairmont Château Laurier.
Where do I park if I am driving directly to the event venue?

Are there any travel discounts eligible to REALiTY24 attendees?
Yes, special travel discounts have been negotiated with some providers. To learn more, visit https://realityconference.ca/accommodations/.
OREA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the assembly
Can our Directors attend only the Assembly meeting as observers? Can you confirm there is no fee to attend the Assembly meeting?
There are no fees to attend the Open Forum and Annual General Meeting of the Assembly and it is open to all Members. But we’d like to invite you to consider attending full conference. We’re confident you’ll get value for your dollars.
Where are the regional director elections happening on the agenda?
The Area Elections to elect the Provincial Directors will be held during the Annual General Meeting of the Assembly.
When does the REB portal open for the registration of voting delegates and observers?
The first week of February 2024.

What is the President’s Dinner?
Each year OREA’s inaugural President host’s a dinner to celebrate the beginning of their term as President of the association. 2024 President, Rick Kedzior will be hosting his celebration on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Shaw Centre.
Date: Tuesday, March 5, 2024
Time: Reception begins at 6:00 p.m., Dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.*
Location: Trillium Ballroom, Shaw Centre; 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa ON
Price: $150 + tax (three-course sit-down dinner, two drink tickets and entertainment included)

Can we attend the President’s Dinner without a ticket to OREA’s AGM or REALiTY24?
Yes, the event is a separate ticket from both OREA AGM and REALiTY 24. The cost is $150 plus HST and includes three-course sit down dinner, two drink tickets and entertainment.
Will MPP visits take place during the conference?
No, MPP visits are scheduled in conjunction with OREA’s Political Affairs Conference not REALiTY.
Where and when will the REALTORS Care® Foundation hand out Fellowship Awards this year?
The Fellowship Awards will again be awarded to recipients at the ORCF 2024 Annual General Meeting.
Where and when will the Young Professionals Network Leadership Awards be handed out this year?
The YPN Leadership Awards were presented virtually via Instagram on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The presentation date in 2024 will be announced in January 2024.
